Calling all Moms!!

Ok, we are getting down to crunch time here and I still have lots of things I need to decide on! I have been looking at stroller/car seat travel systems trying to pick one, but I am having a hard time deciding between all the options and don't know what to get! Does anyone have a stroller and car seat system that they really liked and would recommend? Another question about strollers- is it better to get one that is more neutral colored so that it will work for boys and girls, or do you wear them out pretty quick so go ahead and get a girl specific one? I just don't know... and for those of you who know my mind- these decisions are unreasonably hard for me to make, haha. So- any input or suggestions for strollers? OR any "must have" baby items that I probably don't know about? Bring on the comments, PLEASE!!!

Well, I got neutral colored and then my sisters got an ADORABLE GIRLY cover made to go over the carseat. I LOVE it! I ended up getting the big sized Graco seat, and then put it in the Graco snap and go stroller and Graco snap and go swing, b/c I really like the MacLaren stollers for when they get a little older. I hope this helps - feel free to ask any questions. How exciting that you are getting so close!!!

Oh heather, I feel your dilemma. It was extra super duper hard for me to decide. BUT I would definitely suggest a Joovy stroller, especially if you plan on expanding. check them out when you can, www.joovy.com. They have an actual seat in the front, that converts to fit a carseat, and in the back of the stroller there is a caboose seat that, when you're little one grows older, she can ride in that seat, and when you have you're next one, you won't have to worry about buying a whole other stroller!! It saves SO much money and space! And for now, you can just put your diaper bag and SHOPPING bags ;) in the back when you go somewhere.
Okay i just read that over, and you might just want to go check it out because that sounded so rambly. haha. good luck though!!! :) And it IS a great stroller!!

hey girl, i have the graco snug ride, which is the car seat and stroller. it has been great, but since i had livie i have discovered a better choice. chico is the brand and it also is the stoller and carseat combo. look them up on line, they have them at babiesrus. the stroller is really light weight and great. i have had friends that have gotten them, they are so cool. i sound dumb...anyways, if i were to do it over again, i would get one of those. since this is your first baby, i would definitely get a neutral color. trust me, with a girl, you will have plenty of pink stuff everywhere!

Hey Heather, this is a huge decision. I totally remember going back and forth when we were getting ready to have Hayden 4 1/2 years ago. After talking to a lot of people and researching this for a while, we decided to go with Peg Perego Stroller/ Baby Carrier/ Carseat combo. There were a few reasons we chose this one. The carrier is lightweight, the stroller is compact and SO easy to fold up, it takes like 3 seconds, maybe 4 hehe. I loved how the base of the carseat fit into any car, if you don't have the latches, the base adjusts and we didn't have to make it safe by stuffing towels underneath. I loved how the stroller layed back so the baby could be either sitting up or laying almost flat. Anyways, there were lots of great amenities. There is my two sense, good luck.

Heather-

My personal favorite is to attach a strong rope to a trash can lid and drag the little one behind you. It's great exercise.

And car seats are totally overrated. Just set her in your lap. Britney Spears does it.
