Six Months Old

Our Hallie is growing up too fast, but she has to keep up with her sisters!
She is six months old now.
She rolls all over the place.
She sits up.
She eats.
A lot.
She loves her baby food and is getting tired of formula.
She is a pudgy 20 lbs and we love it.
She drools more than a Saint Bernard.
She loves playing with her toys.
She is in a sleeping funk. Not fun.
No teeth.

Can't believe she is halfway to ONE.

A Date with Daddy

A few weeks ago at the preschool, they had a daddy and dessert night. Abigail was so excited about it. She picked out her fanciest dress, wanted me to straighten her hair, and of course wore her REAL princess tiara.  Charles came home from work to pick her up, and brought flowers for her (and Ellie, didn't want her to feel left out).  It was really cute.  They had fun eating brownies and ice cream, and making a kite together.

Best Buds

These girls wear me out.  They are best friends, or they are trying to kill each other.  The older they get, the more "best friends" days they have.  Lately, they LOVE to dress up.  Ellie especially.  She has worn out our dress up clothes more in the last three months, than the rest of their life. I love it. I especially love listening in on their imaginary play times.  I love their creativity. :)

Hallie is getting big!

I can't keep up with this girl! I take the pictures, but don't get them up on here before she has grown another month! Here is a little Hallie overload from the last couple of months.

Preschool Graduation

I dreaded this day for a while.  Any day that comes with realization of how fast these little girls are growing up is a hard day for this mama.  Abigail has had the best year at preschool.  The teachers there are awesome! I can't say enough good things about them.  I'll be making the drive again next year to take Ellie because I can't imagine going somewhere else.  Anyway, I held it together pretty well, after a few mini-meltdowns leading up to it.  But Abi did great, she is so cute :) She was even limping around the whole time because she hurt her foot pretty bad about 2 hours before the program. The theme for the night was that they are all God's Mighty Warriors, and God's Little Princesses.  They each got their own Bible, Abigail's was a pink princess Bible :)  Here are some pictures and videos, mostly for the grandma's that couldn't be there.

(Excuse the sideways videos... I blame Charles)

Bluebonnets

It is my favorite time of year in Texas.  Spring time brings perfect weather, and blankets of bluebonnets all over.  We finally got the girls out and took some pictures last night.  They were great, and surprisingly cooperative considering we started at their usual bed time.
