If anyone has any must read children's books, PLEASE, let me know.
Don't get me wrong, I love Dr. Suess and all, but seriously...
This girl could sit and read forEVER, and be a happy camper.
But somehow I don't think she is impressed that I have most of her books memorized, and let me tell you... It is quiet a fete to be able to keep up with all the wockets in pockets and geelings on ceilings.

I believe geiling is spelled with an i.
my kids love the "froggy" book series from scholastic, and the 'franklin' books too. we get the scholastic book orders from the preschool if you want to look through them, let me know.
I'm the same way - I pretty much have all Brightyn's books memorized. Even Klaas quizzed me on a certain book and I got 100%. He said WOW you do read this book a lot!!
Oh my word she is so cute, and she has so much pretty hair! My family has a list of all of our favorite childrens books that we are always adding to, I will email it to you!!! Evie loves reading too but she'd rather "read" to us half the time than have us read to her all the time.
Hey Heather, I have about a million favorites! I don't have kids but that doesn't mean that I don't own lots (um, like almost 500?) kids books! I recently started listing my favorites on a blog: picturebookplace.blogspot.com ...it's still a major work in progress... but I'm a little obsessed with good children's books so I like to share!
Skippyjon Jones and its sequels, Monster Munchies & Big Hungry Bear were favorites of my kids at that age, my girls also like Pinkilicious and its sequels (it aims at a slightly older crowd). I'm sure there were more, but they are into chapter books now and I can't remember all of their old favs.
My parents signed the boys up for a book club for both of their birthdays so now we get 3 new books each twice a month from that and go to the book store once a week....of all the books we have, Hop on Pop and The Cat in the Hat get the most action.
