For Christmas, Abigail got a little basketball hoop from Aunt Lori. When you slam dunk, it has a crowd that cheers for you. Abigail loves playing with it. Brad and Becca gave her a little basketball too, so we are training her early :) She doesn't seem to mind either. We have had a lot of fun playing with all her new toys from Christmas.

Goodbye... for now

Here are the last bits of pictures from our trip. It was hard to say goodbye to everyone, we will miss y'all so much. It is good to know that we will be back this summer for Courtney's big day in June! We can't wait!

Fun with Logan

I know this is turning into more of a photo journal... but that is kind of the idea, so- sorry if you are getting tired of it, but in case you can't tell, I'm big on pictures.

Anyway, here are some cute ones of Abigail and Logan from our trip. Logan was so cute with Abigail, always wanting to hold her and play with her. He is going to make a great big brother!!

This was one of the highlights of the Texas trip. Logan got to talk with Santa over the baby monitor.

I love the part where he almost drops Abigail when he realizes he didn't tell Santa to bring her anything for Christmas.

Growing fast

Abigail has started to sit up on her own. It started out as a fun game to see how long she could sit up before she would slowly fall over, but now she is doing a pretty good job holding herself up. She has even started lifting herself back up when she starts to slouch over. She is getting so strong. She is pushing up with her arms when she is on her tummy and rolling over more and more. I wonder how long until she starts scooting around the house?? She has also started reaching more for things, and people (ME!!). She reaches for Charles too, but I was so excited when she started doing this. It is nice to have a little reciprocation :)

Sweet Nana

We got to spend a little bit of time with my grandparents while we were in Texas. Abigail hadn't met Nana yet, but she got acquainted quickly. I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of her and Papa, but I am glad I have a few of Nana holding her and Abigail snuggling up to her. Nana had her giggling and smiling quite a bit. It will be fun to see them again this summer, Abigail will have changed so much by then!

Happy Anniversary

We celebrated our 2 year anniversary Dec. 28th! It was pretty low key, but we were happy to pop a bottle of our favorite Martinelli's and toast to a fun filled 2 years.

Happy Birthday Alissa

Well, I am about a little late here... but we celebrated my sister in law's birthday on Dec 27th while we were in Texas. We went out to lunch with the girls, Kyle made some great cupcakes, and we finished off the day at El Matador (a personal favorite). Alissa is so fun to have around! I'm glad we got to be together to celebrate her birthday and SOO glad that we all got to spend so much time together over the holidays this year. We love you Alissa!

Fish Fry

Brad caught the fish, Dad fried them, and we all ate them. We all stood around and had a good time while Dad cooked up the fish and everything to go with them. Lots of fish, hush puppies, fries, and onion rings. Thanks boys!!
